Head Chef - Indian & Egyptian Cuisine (Sharjah)


We are a reputable restaurant in Sharjah, known for our authentic Indian and Egyptian cuisine, seeking a skilled and creative Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and supervising kitchen staff.

Requirements:
- Must have experience working as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Proficient in cooking authentic Indian and Egyptian dishes
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and manage kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Create menus that showcase traditional Indian and Egyptian dishes while incorporating new flavors and trends
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and maintain high standards of food quality
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary working environment at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a busy restaurant setting
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Indian and Egyptian cuisine
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Salary: 1500$ per month
