Indian Chef - Al-Rayyan
Looking for a skilled Indian Chef to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes, using traditional recipes and high-quality ingredients. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff and ensuring all food is prepared and presented according to our standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori meats, and breads.
- Follow traditional recipes and use high-quality ingredients to ensure the best taste and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, training new employees, and ensuring all food safety regulations are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
- Create new menu items or adapt existing ones to cater to different dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, and spices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Food safety certification is preferred but not required.
Salary: 1500$ per month.
