Surveying Technician


We are currently hiring for a Surveying Technician to join our team in Doha. Our company is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience in surveying and mapping techniques. As a Surveying Technician, you will work closely with our team of surveyors to assist with collecting and analyzing data, creating maps and reports, and ensuring the accuracy of surveys.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in conducting land surveys using various techniques such as GPS, total stations, and level instruments
- Collect data on land features, boundaries, topography, and other relevant information
- Use software programs to create maps and reports based on collected data
- Perform calculations to determine property boundaries and areas
- Ensure accuracy of survey measurements by regularly calibrating equipment and checking data
- Assist with drafting legal documents related to surveys
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain detailed records of all survey data collected

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a surveying technician or similar role
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to use advanced measuring tools
- Familiarity with surveying software such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary:
$1400 per month
