Barista - Coffee Specialist


We are currently seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at our busy coffee shop in El-Ain. As a Coffee Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality espresso-based drinks and other specialty coffee beverages that meet the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation. Our ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has excellent customer service skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos
- Crafting specialty coffee beverages such as pour-over, French press, and cold brew
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workspace and equipment
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and handling payments
- Educating customers about our menu offerings and answering any questions they may have about our products
- Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Adhering to all food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
