Cashier - Retail Store (Medina, Saudi Arabia)



Our retail store in Medina is seeking a customer service-oriented Cashier with excellent communication skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment and be able to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and policies
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and priced
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns/exchanges, and customer service
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cashier in a retail setting
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Strong numeracy skills for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to resolve issues in a professional manner
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
