Librarian - Mecca, Saudi Arabia (Indian Nationals Preferred)

Our library in Mecca is seeking a dedicated and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing reference and research assistance to patrons, and promoting literacy and learning within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloguing new materials, organizing shelves, and maintaining accurate records of borrowed items.
- Assist patrons with reference and research inquiries, providing guidance on how to access resources and navigate databases.
- Plan and implement educational programs and activities for children and adults, such as storytelling sessions or book clubs.
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-related activities and promote reading among students.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in literature, technology, and education in order to make informed decisions about purchasing new materials.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the library by ensuring the space is clean, organized, and conducive to learning.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
