Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef de Cuisine to join our team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious and high-quality dishes for our guests. You will also be responsible for managing and training the kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that align with our restaurant's concept and target audience
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and garnishing
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain food quality standards according to company policies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional dining experiences for guests
- Manage kitchen budget and control costs without compromising on quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes consistently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in Arabic (preferred) or English
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends
Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)
Location: Jizan, Saudi Arabia
