Dishwasher - Al-Rayyan, Egypt



As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen equipment and utensils. Your main responsibility will be to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and other kitchenware by hand or using industrial dishwashing equipment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwasher area
- Sort and stack clean dishes for use in the kitchen
- Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure proper sanitation
- Change dishwashing water as needed
- Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking supplies in the kitchen
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Follow proper safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
