Cashier
Location: Salalah, Oman
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at our busy retail store in Salalah. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently using the cash register
- Handle cash transactions and provide customers with correct change
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions
- Ensure all sales transactions are recorded accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Assist with inventory management when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work full-time hours including weekends
- Must have own visa (if applicable)
