Junior Accountant - Salalah, Oman

We are currently hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in Salalah, Oman on a contract basis. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, maintaining records of transactions, and reconciling accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without experience to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax audits
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- Biometric passport (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to work legally in Salalah

Salary: $1500 per month
