Instrument Technician



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial or manufacturing processes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair instruments such as gauges, meters, sensors, transmitters and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Calibrate instruments as needed for accurate readings
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify solutions for complex issues
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments and control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs and calibrations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must be physically fit as the job may require standing for long periods of time or working at heights

Salary: 1200$ per month + accommodation provided.
