Radio Technician

We are in need of a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Salalah. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio communication equipment used for various purposes such as broadcasting, public safety, and telecommunications. You will also be required to troubleshoot any issues with the equipment and ensure that it is functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
- Install and set up radio communication equipment according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the equipment
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Technical knowledge of radio communication equipment and systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed

Salary:
Starting salary of $1600 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Salalah. Accommodation will be provided.

Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible for sponsorship.

Education:
No specific education requirements, but a degree or certification in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
Previous experience as a Radio Technician is not required but preferred. This position may also be suitable for recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.
