Excavator Operator



As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform various excavation tasks. This includes digging trenches, grading land, and loading/unloading materials. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues
- Dig trenches, grade land, and move materials as directed by the construction team
- Maintain a clean and organized work site
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with the construction team to ensure project goals are met
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction environment
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary
