Office Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Muscat. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This position is suitable for someone without experience, as we will provide on-the-job training.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain office supplies and ensure all equipment is in working order
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Keep track of office expenses and prepare expense reports
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and data entry
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
