Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nizwa. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in industrial processes. Your main duties will include troubleshooting issues, conducting regular maintenance checks, and ensuring the accuracy of instruments.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician and a strong understanding of different types of instruments and their functions. Experience working with biometric passports is preferred. Additionally, we are looking for candidates who have a good understanding of safety protocols and can work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Calibrate instruments according to established standards
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Work closely with other team members to identify and resolve issues
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
- Familiarity with various types of industrial instruments
- Experience working with biometric passports preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Salary: $900 per month.

Location: This position is based in Nizwa, but we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are eligible to work in Oman.
