Contract Dietitian

A reputable healthcare facility in Nizwa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Dietitian to join our team. As a Contract Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to patients, developing individualized meal plans, and monitoring patients' progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for patients based on their medical history, dietary needs, and lifestyle.
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and weight management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the development of patient care plans.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of patient consultations and progress.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience working as a Dietitian in a clinical setting for at least 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, guidelines, and practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software programs for creating meal plans and maintaining patient records.
