Handyman

The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks around the Nizwa area. This may include fixing plumbing and electrical issues, repairing appliances, painting, and general upkeep of buildings and facilities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot and fix plumbing, electrical, and other building issues
- Repair or replace appliances as necessary
- Paint walls, floors, and other surfaces as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide timely solutions
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies when needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting techniques
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Good communication skills to interact with clients effectively
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time

Additional Preferences:
While not required, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Nationality: Omani (due to visa restrictions)
- Experience working with students or in a school setting

Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this full-time position is 1800$ per month. Accommodation is not provided but free visa sponsorship is available. A one-way ticket to Nizwa will also be provided for non-local candidates.
