Surveyor vacancy in Khasab Oman

Land Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Khasab. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements of land and gathering data for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying techniques and equipment, as well as excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using various surveying equipment
- Collect and analyze data to create accurate maps, plans, and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy of survey results
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
- Prepare legal descriptions of surveyed areas for land deeds or property sales
- Interpret maps, blueprints, and aerial photographs to determine project location and layout
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while conducting surveys

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency with surveying software such as AutoCAD or ArcGIS
- Familiarity with GPS technology and Total Station instruments
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to accurately calculate measurements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full time position.

Location:
This position is based in Khasab but may require occasional travel to different project sites. Preference will be given to candidates who are already located in Khasab or willing to relocate.
