Carpenter Supervisor

We are in need of a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to join our team in Khasab. As a Carpenter Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction and repair of wooden structures, such as furniture, door frames, and cabinets. You will also be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of carpenters, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or other specifications to determine materials required and methods of installation.
- Prepare estimates for materials, timeframes, and cost of projects.
- Inspect work progress to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train new carpenters on proper techniques and safety procedures.
- Order materials and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other contractors or construction managers to ensure smooth project completion.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in construction.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred.
- Valid biometric passport is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to physically perform duties such as lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, etc.

Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable depending on experience)
