Carpenter - Khasab, Oman


We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your duties will include measuring and cutting materials according to specifications, assembling and fastening materials using hand and power tools, and ensuring that the finished product is of high quality.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter and possess excellent carpentry skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. You must also have knowledge of construction methods, tools, equipment, and materials used in carpentry work. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are also important qualities for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble and fasten materials using hand and power tools
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate with clients or supervisors to discuss project details
- Maintain clean work area

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent carpentry skills
- Knowledge of construction methods, tools, equipment, and materials used in carpentry work
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit
