Chef de Cuisine - Indian Cuisine (Bayan, Kuwait)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team at a renowned restaurant in Bayan, Kuwait. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and authentic Indian dishes, managing the kitchen operations, and ensuring that all food served meets the high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute creative and authentic Indian dishes to delight our customers
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality in food preparation
- Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning, pricing, and special events
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Monitor food costs and control expenses to meet budgetary guidelines
- Continuously research new recipes and techniques to improve menu offerings
- Build relationships with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients for the restaurant

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in an Indian restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and traditional cooking techniques
- Passion for creating unique dishes that showcase the flavors of India
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proven track record of managing food costs while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: 1300$ per month
