Welder Technician


We are hiring a skilled Welder Technician to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks to repair and maintain equipment and structures. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in welding techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials required for each project
- Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders to fabricate or repair metal parts
- Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or cutting as needed
- Monitor welding process to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, stick welding
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with various types of metals, alloys, and their properties
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary:
Salary for this position starts at 1500$ per month.
