Accountant vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Senior Accountant

We are a growing company in Al-Khor, seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to provide strategic insights for our company's growth. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (preferably in a managerial position)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software programs (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
