Junior Executive Chef
We are in search of a creative and motivated Junior Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Manama. As a Junior Executive Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is consistently delivered to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent culinary school graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating and updating menus that align with restaurant's concept and standards
- Help supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting (fine dining experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
Salary:
1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
