Dishwasher Assistant

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher Assistant to join our team at a busy restaurant in Manama. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level position, so no previous experience is required.

As a Dishwasher Assistant, you will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and cleaning kitchen surfaces.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently under pressure. You must also be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. This is a physically demanding role, so you must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using an industrial dishwasher
- Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, etc.
- Empty trash bins regularly
- Assist with food prep as needed
- Follow instructions from senior staff members
- Work efficiently to keep up with the pace of the restaurant
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn new tasks and follow instructions closely

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
