Cashier for Busy Retail Store in Muharraq


We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our busy retail store in Muharraq. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our store and responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a welcoming smile and provide them with prompt, courteous service
- Accurately scan and process items for purchase using our POS system
- Handle cash transactions, including counting cash, giving correct change, and balancing the register at the end of each shift
- Process credit card payments and ensure all transactions are authorized correctly
- Ensure pricing accuracy by verifying prices on products and updating as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to create a positive shopping experience for customers
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and store policies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Friendly personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: $1300 per month
