Crane Operator

A reputable construction company in Muharraq is urgently seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites. Your main duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane while following all safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Read and understand load charts and rigging instructions
- Perform daily inspections of the crane to ensure it is in good working condition
- Communicate with site supervisors to determine lift requirements
- Safely rig loads using appropriate slings, chains, and other rigging equipment
- Ensure that the crane is properly set up on stable ground before lifting
- Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments as necessary for safe operation
- Keep accurate records of lifts performed and maintenance performed on the crane
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise during operation

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience operating cranes in a construction setting
- Valid biometric passport for international travel (preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to crane operation
- Ability to read and understand load charts, rigging instructions, and other technical documents
- Physically fit with the ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions from site supervisors
- Committed to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month along with accommodation.
