Head Chef at Fine Dining Restaurant in Al-Malikiyah



We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our upscale fine dining restaurant located in Al-Malikiyah. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing food costs, training and supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that showcase a variety of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Manage food costs by monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, plating presentations, and sanitation procedures
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of all menu items to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions to create unique dining experiences for guests
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing hygiene standards and following health code regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve high-quality results under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and collaborate with management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Updated knowledge of industry trends, ingredients, cooking methods, and sanitation standards
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with an average salary of 1400$ per month. As this is a hospitality role, flexibility in working hours is required including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate should be physically fit as this job requires standing for long periods of time.
