Immigration Attorney
We are a growing immigration law firm in Medina seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Attorney to join our team. As an Immigration Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients on matters related to immigration laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to determine their eligibility for immigration benefits
- Prepare and file various immigration applications, including but not limited to, family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, and applications for naturalization
- Represent clients in immigration court proceedings and USCIS interviews
- Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents for submission to government agencies or courts
- Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration laws and policies
- Maintain accurate case files and track deadlines
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state of Medina
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing immigration law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
- Familiarity with government agencies involved in the immigration process (USCIS, EOIR, DOS)
- Experience with family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, asylum applications, waivers of inadmissibility, removal defense, and naturalization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Urdu or Malayalam
- Experience working with Pakistani or Malayalee clients
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Experience handling complex cases such as appeals or federal litigation
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per week along with benefits including health insurance and paid time off. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
