Agronomist


An established agricultural company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled and experienced Agronomist to join our team. As an Agronomist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of crop production, including soil management, irrigation, pest control, and crop harvesting. You will also conduct research and experiments to improve crop yields and quality.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Agronomist
- Strong knowledge of crop production techniques and technologies
- Familiarity with local agriculture regulations and practices
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
- Monitor soil conditions and make recommendations for improvements
- Oversee irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage
- Identify pests and diseases affecting crops and implement control measures
- Conduct research on new crop varieties and farming techniques to improve yields
- Analyze data on crop performance to make informed decisions for future seasons
- Train and supervise farm workers on proper farming practices
