Executive Chef for Luxury Resort in Bayan, Africa
Our luxury resort in Bayan, Africa is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect our resort's concept and standards
- Select and train talented kitchen staff to execute the menu with precision and consistency
- Oversee all food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels to ensure profitability
- Establish relationships with local suppliers to source the freshest ingredients possible
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to create special menus for events or dietary restrictions
- Continuously research and develop new dishes to keep menus fresh and exciting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Proven ability to lead a team of kitchen staff while maintaining a positive work environment
- Excellent knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong understanding of food costs, inventory management, and budgeting
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments
Compensation:
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
