Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are searching for an experienced Pastry Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team at our restaurant located in Bayan. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries inspired by traditional Indian recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new dessert and pastry recipes with an emphasis on traditional Indian flavors and ingredients
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, including cakes, cookies, pies, and other confections
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, piping, and garnishing
- Ensure all pastry dishes are presented in an attractive manner that meets our quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain stock levels
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and a passion for incorporating traditional flavors into modern pastry creations
- Strong creativity and ability to develop new recipes while also executing classic dishes with precision
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff members
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this full-time position.
Location:
This position is located in Bayan. We welcome applicants from all nationalities; however, proficiency in English is preferred.
