Logistics Coordinator

We are hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the logistics process, from planning and scheduling shipments to tracking and reporting delivery status. Your role will involve working closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with suppliers and carriers to meet delivery requirements.
- Track shipments and communicate delivery status to relevant parties.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimize costs.
- Prepare shipping documents and handle customs clearance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment details, including costs, quantities, and delivery dates.
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics management or related field.
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or similar role.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
