Junior Accountant

Our company is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$. We are specifically looking for candidates from Egypt who are freshers in the field of accounting and do not require English proficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support the senior accountant with month-end close activities
- Respond to inquiries from clients or management regarding financial information
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an accounting role is an asset, but not required for this entry-level position
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills (Arabic proficiency preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
