Male Librarian in Dar Kulaib


We are seeking a Male Librarian to join our team in Dar Kulaib. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the library and providing access to resources for students and staff. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for books and knowledge who enjoys working with people.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize library materials, including books, magazines, and audio-visual resources
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Assist students and staff with locating resources and conducting research
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all library materials
- Promote reading and literacy through events and activities
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-based learning
- Train library volunteers or assistants as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in computer systems used for cataloging materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young adults
- Knowledge of current trends in literature
- Familiarity with different types of media, including e-books and audiobooks

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

This position is located in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain.
