Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Dar Kulaib. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy loads in construction sites, ports, and other industrial settings. Your main duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane while adhering to all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate different types of cranes including mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes.
- Inspect the crane before and after each use to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Read and interpret load charts to determine load capacities and proper rigging techniques.
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radios to ensure safe movements.
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect crane operations and take necessary precautions.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times.
- Keep accurate records of daily operations including materials lifted, hours worked, and maintenance performed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Crane Operator.
- Valid license or certification to operate cranes.
- Knowledge of different crane types, load charts, rigging techniques, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads for extended periods.
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Attention to detail with strong focus on safety.
