Entry-Level Librarian


As an entry-level librarian at our library in Dar Kulaib, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the library and providing excellent customer service to patrons. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of library materials, including cataloging, shelving, and shelf reading
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons by helping them find materials, answering questions, and resolving issues
- Assist with the circulation desk by checking materials in and out, collecting fines and fees, and updating patron records
- Assist with creating displays and promoting library programs and services
- Help maintain a clean and orderly library space
- Participate in library staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
