Electrician - Contract Position in Isa Town, Bahrain
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on a contract basis in Isa Town, Bahrain. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial properties. Your duties will include reading blueprints and technical diagrams, troubleshooting electrical problems, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Attention to detail, time management skills, and physical stamina are essential for success in this role. This position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ per month and is suitable for men who possess the necessary skills, experience, and qualifications as outlined below.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Valid electrician license/certification
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Working knowledge of safety codes and regulations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic language proficiency is a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems/equipment
- Read blueprints/technical diagrams to determine the location of wiring/connections/junction boxes/outlets/panels etc.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers/circuit breakers/switches/fuses etc.
- Identify electrical problems/failures using various testing devices/toolkits
- Repair/replacement of faulty wiring/components/equipment etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes/regulations during installation/repairs/maintenance work
- Maintain accurate records/documentation/logs of all work performed
- Communicate effectively with clients/supervisors/team members regarding progress/issues/concerns
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments/technological advancements to improve efficiency/effectiveness of work performed.
