Librarian - Dubai


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Dubai. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing library resources, providing assistance to library users, and promoting library services and programs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of library materials
- Assist library users with finding resources and conducting research
- Develop and maintain library collections based on user needs and interests
- Plan and implement educational programs and events to promote library services
- Train staff on library policies, procedures, and technology
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics
- Collaborate with other departments to support educational initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a librarian or in a similar role
- Proficient in using library management systems and databases
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist diverse populations
- Knowledge of current trends in libraries, including digital resources and services

Salary: $1000 per month

This position is open to all nationalities. However, preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.
