Junior Chef - Entry Level
We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Al-Rayyan. As a Junior Chef, you will support the Executive Chef in the preparation and cooking of dishes, as well as assist with maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in the culinary industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Executive Chef
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certificate is a plus
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure well
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
