Chef de Cuisine



We are hiring an experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team of talented chefs in the vibrant city of Sharjah. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team, creating and executing innovative dishes, and maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background with expertise in Malayalee cuisine. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef is required, with the ability to manage a diverse team and work under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily menu for lunch and dinner service
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on techniques, recipes, and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Collaborate with management to create new dishes and menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to all food safety regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as Head Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of Malayalee cuisine is essential
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dishes while staying true to traditional flavors
- Proficient in English communication (Malayalam language skills are preferred)
- Good understanding of food costs, inventory management, and budgeting
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality dishes
