Head Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Malayalee/Egyptian Preferred)

We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead our team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in Jeddah. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Malayalee or Egyptian cuisine, as well as experience working in a high-end restaurant setting. Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus that showcase traditional Malayalee or Egyptian dishes with a modern twist
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and consistency
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Malayalee or Egyptian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam/Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Jeddah (accommodation provided)

This is a temporary position with potential for permanent employment based on performance. Freshers are welcome to apply. No English proficiency is required for this role. Only candidates with experience in Malayalee or Egyptian cuisine will be considered.
