Head Chef
We are looking for an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team in Ajman. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire kitchen operations, creating new menus and dishes, and leading a team of chefs to ensure high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising their work
- Create new menus and dishes that are innovative and meet customer demands
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels to meet budget requirements
- Comply with all food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team of chefs
- Strong knowledge of various culinary techniques and cuisines
- Creativity in menu development
- Knowledge of food cost management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English
- Indian nationality preferred
Salary: 1600$ per month
