Librarian for Women's Library in Mecca, Saudi Arabia


We are in search of a knowledgeable and organized Librarian to manage our women's library in Mecca. As the Librarian, you will be responsible for maintaining the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and inquiries, and organizing events and activities to promote literacy and learning among women.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloguing, shelving, and organizing materials.
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide recommendations for resources.
- Plan and coordinate events and activities to engage the community and promote literacy.
- Develop partnerships with local organizations to expand the library's reach.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to enhance library services.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian.
- Strong knowledge of library management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in Malayalam is preferred but not required.
