Executive Pastry Chef

Our luxury hotel in Dubai is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team. As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delectable desserts and pastries for our guests, managing the pastry kitchen, and training and supervising junior pastry chefs.

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and visually appealing dessert menus that cater to different dietary preferences
- Oversee the production of all pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Develop and implement new recipes and techniques to continuously improve the pastry offerings
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure timely delivery
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, providing guidance on techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan menus for special events or promotions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts
- Creative flair with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques
- Knowledge of various dessert styles from different regions around the world
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time-management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Salary: $1500 (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Dubai (open to candidates from African countries)
