Temporary Executive Chef

A luxurious hotel in Salalah is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef for a temporary position. This role will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of the hotel's restaurant and ensuring high-quality food and service. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end establishment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create innovative menus. This is a temporary position without accommodation, so candidates must already be based in Salalah or have their own accommodations. Salary for this position is 1400$, with potential for extension based on performance.

As the Temporary Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. You will also be responsible for creating menus that showcase local and international cuisine, while also considering dietary restrictions and preferences of guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to effectively train and supervise staff, as well as collaborate with other departments within the hotel. Additionally, attention to detail and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are essential for success in this role.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting. A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required. The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is also necessary.
