Executive Chef - Salalah, Oman



As an Executive Chef at our upscale restaurant in Salalah, Oman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. Your creativity, passion for food, and strong leadership skills will ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative and high-quality menus that reflect current food trends and meet guests' preferences
- Oversee inventory management and control costs to maximize profitability
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated with industry trends to continuously improve menu offerings and enhance guest experiences

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Passion for food with a creative flair for menu development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an asset)
