Contract Restaurant Manager - Muscat, Oman

We are in search of an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment in Muscat, Oman. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and profitability of the restaurant. Your duties will include managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining customer satisfaction, and implementing marketing strategies.

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience working as a Restaurant Manager and possess strong leadership and organizational skills. You should also have knowledge of food safety regulations and industry trends. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including staffing, inventory management, customer service, and financials
- Recruit, train, schedule and manage staff effectively
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and attract new customers
- Control costs by monitoring inventory levels, labor expenses, and waste reduction initiatives
- Resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that align with customer preferences
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry trends
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessary
