Restaurant Manager

We are in need of an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Muscat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and be knowledgeable in all aspects of running a successful restaurant. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality service and food, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, inventory management, and ordering supplies
- Train and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies
- Create and maintain a positive work environment by motivating staff, promoting teamwork, and addressing any issues or conflicts as they arise
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Oversee financial aspects of the restaurant, such as budgeting, cost control, and revenue forecasting
- Develop marketing strategies to increase sales and attract new customers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends, new menu items, and competition in the area

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Familiarity with restaurant management software (e.g. POS)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality service
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Muscat (accommodation provided)
