Part-time Instrument Technician - Salalah, Oman

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah, Oman on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various instruments and equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment, and perform necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with hazardous materials
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of work
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to instrument maintenance

Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of instrument calibration techniques and procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic language proficiency is preferred)
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in outdoor environments as required
